Description
Proposed tree work at above address (see sketch)The following proposals are to enable the retention of the better specimens but removal of overgrown, inappropriate or poor specimens to allow for replacement planting especially the establishment of a new lower screen on the roadside.1 Hawthorn (very poor recent pruning - replacement more appropriate than pruning to improve form) ? Fell to allow for replacement with a small ornamental.2 Laburnum (extensive basal decay and causing fence damage) ? Fell.3 Birch - Reduce on house side by 2 to 4m.4 Two self-set Goat Willows.5 Rowan - Minor tidy (suckers).6 Old Goat Willow with extensive basal decay - Fell to low stump to allow for replacement.7 Double-stemmed Birch (poor structure and inappropriate position for large tree) ? Fell to allow for replacement with feature shrub or small species tree.8 Small self-set Ash (inappropriate for position) - Fell to allow for replacement.9 Wild Cherry (inappropriate for position) - Fell to low stump to allow for replacement.10 Purple Plum - Fell to low stump to give more space for Hamamelis.11 Stunted Oak (poor form and shaded below Willow) - Fell to low stump to allow for replacement with more shade tolerant tree/large shrub.12 Malus - Crown reduce on neighbour's building side by 1.5 to 2.5m.13 Weeping Willow - Reduce upper leader and longer sections over road by 3 to 5m to reduce the risk of major failure.14 Purple Plum (poor condition) - Fell to low stump to allow for replacement with more shade tolerant tree/large shrub.HAR/CA15
