PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A RETROSPECTIVE APPLICATION AS AGREED WITH TREE OFFICER PETER POLLARDThe specification was to - T1 Oak ? Remove the crown of the tree, pollarding at 30-60cm out from the main forks.Reasons ? The tree has been assessed as having a large cavity in the main stem under the point of the main fork. At the time of the inspection, we also identified a large split in one of the main unions of the tree. Due to the above weaknesses and considering the potential for failure over both parking and path areas. The pruning is recommended to remove the risk of limb failures. TPO 97N.
