Description

3 Lime trees near rear end of property (T1-T3) - Reduce in height by approximately 3 metres (to the point of the previous reduction) and shorten longer lateral side limbs by approximately 2 metres, to produce a solid crown formation. Remove epicormic shoots within the crown to thin the canopy. Crown lift the low drooping limbs by approximately 2 metres and remove any epicormic growth from the trunk. Remove deadwood 3cm+ in diameter.Reasons ? To control the size of the crown due to concerns over the overall size and height of the tree considering its proximity to the properties. The work is likely to be part of a cyclical pruning program that will be undertaken at around 5 yearly intervals to maintain the tree size. Also to improve sunlight access in garden. TPO 390W.
