Description
There is a beech tree at the front of 77 Swann Lane (which is subject to a TPO, I believe) and it is in a conservation area. Unfortunately the tree is dead, the branches are falling off, the bark is peeling off and no foliage grows on the tree. So there is a risk that it starts to fall, which would cause significant damage to the property and/or road/vehicles if it did. I wish to remove the tree completely, but will need a tree surgeon or similar third party to carry out the work. In terms of replanting, I am open to suggestions. The trunk of the tree is quite thick and the roots well-established and the area of soil it is planted in is quite small. So whether another tree could be planted there, depends on the extent to which a tree removal firm could remove enough of the trunk/roots to allow another tree to fit in the space. If planting a new tree further along, nearer the other side of the garden would help, happy to do this.
