Description

CEDAR FELL - replant one (A)10-15ft silver birch. The cedar tree situated at the back of our home has become an institutional problem within the neighbourhood we had lived in from 1st August 2022. It has created so much distress not only to our family but our surrounding neighbours who are supportive but have negative views on the tree.Within this file we have documented pictures over the past year living in the property, which demonstrates the negative impact the tree has on our/neighbours daily lives. In particular, it has a bearing effect from a mental health point of view, the current lack of desire to enhance the property from installing new fencing, relaying the patio and driveway, surrounding areas just isn?t there due to the constant fall of needles. My family (2 year old in particular) cannot enjoy the outside space during the summer due to the eccessive amount of needles that drop and cover the whole area - the back garden is redundent. The gutters on the garage were cleared professionally at a cost, is now redundent. The vast roots from the cedar have lifted the patio area including the garage, our 2 year old daughter has fallen several times as a result of the uneven ground. The worry that if the tree uproutes and falls, the catastophic effect this would have could be fatel, especially through the winter months. Our plans are also included in the proposal and we are prepared to improve the living conditions for not only us, but our neighbours too. HAR/CA29, TPO 82W.
