Description

The relevant trees are located in the back garden of the relevant property. Permission is sought to fell them.1. Palm tree (not native). Visible from the side of the property across neighbouring gardens, but not from the front of the property. Growing in close proximity to 2x mature and established apple trees. Confirmation has been obtained from an arborist that the proposed works can be undertaken without damage or impact the apple trees. Proposed works are sought to allow greater light to the back of the north facing garden.2. Conifer hedge, made up of 3x individual trees. Visible from the side of the house and to the properties abutting the garden. Not visible from the front of the property. Takes up a significant portion of the back of the garden (1.8m). There is no reason to think that bats currently inhabit the hedge. Removal of both items will not impact the presentation of the conservation area.
