Description

Tree 1 - horse chestnut: reduce crown by a maximum of 2 meters and thin out. 35% over all reduction. Tree is a previous pollard so is now very thick with coppice type regrowth that would benefit from thinning.Tree 2 - sycamore: remove tree if it continues to loose condition. Tree looks to have self seeded and is growing in close proximity to mature chestnut. I have advised owner how to improve conditions for the tree regarding aerating of soil and watering. If the tree improves permission to prune at some point in the next 2 years to improve form is requested - maximum 1 meter reduction Above pruning to the recommended bs3998. Tree 3 - conifer: reduce height by a third and trim all sides. HAR/CA10, TPO 72N.
