Do we need planning permission to install solar panels on the side (facing Babbage Road) and rear (facing the bus garage) pitched roof of our office building? The panels will be below the roof ridge height and will not be visible to other office buildings in the area.The shaded area in the attached plan shows where the solar panels would be mounted.Plans and supporting information: Other information: The solar panels would be installed under Stevenage Councils Green Business Grant Scheme for which we already have approval. We have been told by Stevenage Borough Council that this project must be completed before the end of March or else the funding will be lost.
