Description

Variation of a Condition 4 Noise Assessment for planning application 24/AP/0873 dated 31/07/2024 for The installation of Air Source Heat Pump on supporting systems complete with enclosures and associated works to the east of the Harris Academy Peckham main building. Installation of associated equipment and a water to water heat pump in the existing plan a variation to the current condition to permit the ASHPs to operate for a period beyond that currently agreed. This variation is necessary to ensure that the schools are able to maintain an appropriate internal environment and operate their heating systems in a manner that is both energy-efficient and consistent with wider decarbonisation objectives. Maintaining a minimum internal temperature of 15°C is essential to provide frost protection for the buildings and associated services. Allowing the ASHPs to operate for an extended period will significantly reduce the amount of energy required to bring internal spaces up to the required occupancy temperature at the start of the school day, thereby supporting the efficient operation of the heating system.
