Description

Oak (T1) - Crown reduce- Reduce height by 3m from 14m to 11m. Reduce lateral spread by 3m from 12m to9m. Reduction to shape canopy, pruning to suitable points and maintaining natural aesthetic.Work undertaken to bring back to form and improve light conditions for owner & neighbouring properties. The pruning will not go beyond any previous points and the tree will tolerate the pruning as specified above.Oak (T2) - crown reduceReduce height by 6m from 14m to 8m. Reduce lateral spread by 6m from 14m to 8m.The tree is in poor physiological condition and the canopy shows extensive die backwith a large volume of dead wood present. There appears to be chronic oak declineand a heavy reduction to live growth is proposed. Reduction undertaken to removelikelihood of failure and allow the tree to remain as it provides valuable habitat andvisual amenity. The tree should tolerate the pruning as specified above.
