Description

A copper beech hedge at the front of our property pathside, this is an extension of the hedge that borders an adjacent copse. There are 6/7 rather thin and spindly trunks that do grow high and outwards onto the pathway. They do not offer a substantial hedge line as it is very gappy. Some are covered in creeping ivy. Some branches overhang with sharp spikes onto the pedestrian path. We would like to review and consider removal of just the hedge line on our boundary and re plant a more substantial hedgerow. We are open to suggestions but would prefer an evergreen hedge of medium height. Initially we would like to seek permission to see if we can consider any replacement and happy to take guidance.
