Description

The trees are not protected by TPO but are within the Goring Conservation area. Tree 1 is a variegated holly / Ilex Tree 2 is a contorted willow Salix matsudana The Holly has been growing very slowly for the last > 5 years and the growth and foliage is sparse and thin The Salix has doubled in size in the same period and is leaning more and more towards the house in spite of a heavy duty post support. We wish to remove both of these trees. It is our intention to replant with at least one new tree as soon as possible to make the most of the best time of the year for tree planting. We would like to plant a new flowering cherry to compliment the 2 other cherries in the same front flower bed.
