Tree details; Walnut (Juglans regia) Height: approx 8m Lateral spread: approx 6m Location: Rear garden of 18 Henfield View Description of works: Removal of Walnut tree down to ground level. All timber and arisings to be removed. Works will be undertaken by qualified arborists in line with British Standard BS2998:2010 (Tree Work Recommendations). Health and safety environmental best practices will be followed throughout. Reason for works: Elderly resident has requested removal of the walnut tree as it has become too large for the garden space. The tree is increasingly dominant, casting heavy shade and presenting a long-term financial problem due to ongoing pruning, maintenance and management requirements.
