Application Details
Description
There are ten Leylandii trees in the front garden of our property at Little Thorpe, Cleeve Road, Goring. They were planted by the previous owners of our house and have grown excessively, causing them to partially die each summer due to lack of water. They are starting to cause cracking in our driveway and significant amounts of brown needles drop each summer. They are of no interest to us or neighbours, and we are only requesting permission to remove them due to our location within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our border which runs parallel to Elmhurst Road contains one large tree (1) and three smaller trees (2, 3, 4). Our border running along the front of our house, and along Cleeve Road, contains six trees (5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 as marked on the diagram). We plan to leave the other shrubs and hedging in place.
