Description

T1 Mature Ash tree in the rear garden. Tree has become out of scale with surroundings. Our recommendations are to prune away from building to give 2.5-3m clearance. To reduce side growth and over-extended sections by 1.5-2.5m to mitigate against limb failure. To also thin the upper canopy by 15-20% to mitigate against wind loading and to improve light ingress. This will leave a canopy spread of 11-12m and a finish height of approximately 14-15m. The total foliage reduction will be approximately 30%.
