Description

The tree is a Prunus Cerasifera Atropurpurea Cherry Plum (Myrobalan) shown on map as No.1 We seek approval to remove the said tree to ground level and poison the stump. We will then plant a replacement tree Prunus Cerasifera Nigra in the adjacent semi circular bed, marked in orange No.2. Estmiated height and spread being 5 x 3 metres in 20 years. The tree is leaning to the East (toward building), the trunk is suspected to be hollow, a branch is pressing against a wall of the building it is leaning against, possibly the building is supporting the tree. Fungus Phelinus Tuberculosis is present on the stems and trunk. Many branches are poorly attached.
