The proposal is to the single storey back addition to the main house; to carefully remove and retain existing handmade roof tiles, to counter-batten (for ventilation) and reroof using the tiles supplemented with similar handmade red tiles recovered from other roofs on the estate. The counter-battening will raise the roof by 25mm.
