Description

T1 - Sycamore. Mature maiden sycamore tree over pontoons behind Rowing Club buildings. The tree contains a number of pieces of large diameter deadwood over a high target area. The tree is also showing signs of reduced vigour, with some evidence of poor or absent wound wood formation, and in some cases decay cavities, around past pruning / failure points. The recommendation is to remove all major deadwood (over 50mm) and carry out an aerial inspection to determine the extent of decay pockets and better assess the health of the crown.
