Description

G1 - Aspen, Common Oak (TPO W1) 1. Carry out major crown reduction of poplars within approx. 5-7m of security fence, primarily to the tops and western sides over canopies where they overhang neighbouring property. Reduce to approximately 10m or to where natural snap outs have already occurred. Retain natural failure features where possible. 2. Reduce overhanging regrowth from Oaks from previous reduction works. 3. Sever ivy at base and remove 1m to create 1m of clear vertical stem. G2 - Common Oak, Sycamore, Hawthorn (TPO W1) 1. Remove obviously dead stems adjacent road and stems that could fall into the road. 2. Stems in late stage decline and are engulfed in ivy and should also be removed, retain healthy looking stems. 3. Sever ivy at base of retained trees. T3 - Aspen (TPO W1) 1. Remove large deadwood over 50mm diameter over bus stop and road. 2. Reduce easterly limb over pylon by 2-3m to reduce likelihood of failure. 3. Sever ivy at base to aid future inspection of branch unions G4 - Aspen, Common Oak, Hawthorn (TPO W1) 1.Clear fence line by 2-3m by removing overhanging limbs and smaller tree stems from fence. 2. Sever ivy at base of large poplars to aid further safety inspections. G5 - Aspen, Common Oak, Hawthorn (TPO W1) 1. Clear boundary of overhang, particularly around Thames Water tanks. 2. Reduce trees that are engulfed in ivy down to 5-7m stems to retain habitat. 3. Sever ivy at base to aid further inspections. T6 - Aspen (TPO W1) 1. Remove hung up tree stem resting in adjacent tree. T7 - Aspen (TPO W1) 1. Reduce leaning stem down by approx 10m below union of previous stem failure. 2. Sever ivy at base. T8 - Aspen (TPO W1) 1. Reduce lowest large limb over road by 5m to reduce likelihood of limb failure. 2. Sever ivy at base. T9 - Aspen (TPO W1) 1. Remove tree down to 5-10m stump and sever ivy at base. T10 - Aspen (TPO W1) 1. Remove tree down to 5-10m stump and sever ivy at base. T11 - Sycamore (TPO W1) 1. Remove failed debris so that fence can be repaired.
