Description

We are applying to undertake tree works as per the attached arborists report. The need to carry out these works is highlighted by a tree fall in recent heavy winds which obstructed the A329. (See photo TG1_b) Please see the attached arborist report for a full specification of the works. Trees T001, T002, and trees within TG1 are within the conservation area. The other trees fall outside of the conservation area. We intend to carry out all measures recommended in the report. Instead of replanting trees, we aim to restore the boundary hedgerow at the roadside. T001 - Crack Willow - repollard to 2m stem. T002 - Corkscrew Willow - remove fallen limb. T003 - Poplar - remove to ground level. T004 - Common Ash - remove hanging deadwood. T005 - Common Ash - coppice to ground level. T006 - Poplar - remove to ground level. T007 - Common Ash - monitor. T008 - Poplar - no works. TG1 - Common Ash x5 - remove all ash along roadside boundary to ground level. TG2 - Common Ash - remove all ash to ground level along roadside boundary.
