Over dominant ex-Christmas tree offering, extreme shading from south east. The significant shading from the South East and South is incipient and definitive light loss to the overall garden. Essentially a species of tree with little compatibility to surroundings. Fell tree and replant with an Acer campestre (Field Maple) 14-16 cm girth.To be planted in the first season, post removal and to include a 3 year after care programme by HTS to establishment. T 4. 1 x Horse Chestnut. Showing terminal decline. Historic over pruning ("topped"). Extremely poor vitality / poor structural form with apical leader removed. Bleeding canker now extensive throughout vertical eastern element of stem/trunk. Vitality is diminished and considered progressive. Fell tree with the replacement species: 1 x Ulmus "New Horizon". Considered likely to succeed and not be affected by ophiostoma novo-ulmi /Dutch Elm Disease. This tree will contribute to the local village street scent as an amenity feature on the approach from the east.
