FIVE DAY NOTICE T1 - Common Walnut - Reasons for tree removal - T1 is a semi-mature Category U Common Walnut, located in the front gardens of The Orchard, Manor Road, Goring. We have been protecting this walnut tree during the construction of our house extension, but have noticed during 2023 and more seriously over the spring and summer of 2024 that it is quickly becoming full of deadwood and now as a very sparse tree canopy. The walnut is affected by honey fungus and is in a rapid state of decline. The tree is close to our house and driveway and is dangerous, we therefore intend to fell it as a matter of urgency.
