Description

To identify the trees please refer to the enclosed churchyard plan, with its accompanying sheet and photographs. The Holly trees in our churchyard have become enormous and/or unsightly and we would like to reduce their volume and height as detailed in the enclosed estimate from Penn Tree Services Ltd and remove the dying Holly (Tree 7) and the Holly (Tree 10) next to the Judas tree. (Reduce their volume by 50%, lower the total height by 6ft (if feasible for the trees). We also wish to remove the two Sycamores (Trees 9 and 11) which are affecting the boundary wall. We do not wish to replace the trees that are removed as that (south) side of the churchyard is already too shady. We also wish to cut back the two Yews by the Lychgate, as described in the estimate. (raise canopy over entrance, prune back from roadside, and clear from wires).
