Horse Chestnut tree marked T1 on location map (Town Council tree tag no. 239) - Badly diseased (bleeding canker), poor state of health. Fell due to close proximity to the public, road and residential property. Two new trees to be planted on Youens Drive residential estate to replace felled tree. Horse Chestnut tree marked T2 on location map (Town Council tree tag no. 240) - Diseased but condition not as bad as tree T1, propose crown thinning and removal of largest limb overhanging driveway of 28 Youens Drive to provide sufficient clearance from property and vehicles. Both trees are in public open space owned by the Town Council. Proposed work to reduce the risk of harm to members of the public and property.
