Thin crown by a maximum of 30% retaining an even density of foliage throughout a well spaced and balanced branch structure. This will let more light in to the garden and enable the trees in the neighbouring property to have more space and light to thrive. All pruning cuts will be made at branch junctions (retaining the pollard knuckle where appropriate) and sufficient live growth will be retained to maintain crown form.
