T1 Alder; Observations; Located in a residential garden, in close proximity to houses and a garage block. Surveyed in the height of summer, this Alder has an extremely sparse canopy and is shedding dead branches. Additionally it has bacterial canker exuding from it s base. Overall this Alder is in very poor condition, with an extremely limited life expectancy. Dropping branches onto the garages and residential garden, as well as leaning heavily towards the garages this tree has become a health and safety risk. Recommendations; Fell to ground level. T2 Norway Maple; Observations; Located in front of residential properties, this is a healthy Norway Maple with a large spread and height. It has been several years since this tree was pruned, therefore it has outgrown it s location. Recommendations; Crown reduction - reduce the height and spread of the tree by up to 2 metres. Crown lift to 6 metres all around.
