Application Details
Description
T1 (eucalyptus): dismantle to just above ground level. This is a fast-growing species of eucalyptus planted directly adjacent to the boundary wall. There is a significant height difference of approximately 4-5m between the ground level on the tree side of the wall and the neighbour s side, as seen from the photos the neighbour s roof is only slightly higher than the garden ground level and the eucalyptus leans towards the neighbouring roof. The main concern is that as T1 continues to grow, the stability of the retaining wall will be compromised, and as the tree has a slight lean already and is in a fairly exposed/isolated position, significantly increasing the windloading and therefore the risk of failure, this would result in significant property damage.
