Description

Carrying out various works as specified in recent H&S arboricultural survey by Heritage Tree Services. The majority of the work consists of removal of deadwood and minor pruning/trimming to maintain statutory clearance of branches over footpath on the Northern boundary of site. 399 - Hawthorn - (TPO W1) - remove adventitious growth encroaching on footpath to maintain statutory clearance. 398 - Oak (TPO W1) - sever ivy to maintain clear system for future VTAs. Remove moderate deadwood with potential to reach footpath. 397 - Douglas Fir - (TPO W1) - monitor growth at point of previous topping. 396 - Douglas Fir - (TPO W1) - monitor suppressed growth formation. 395 - Larch - (TPO W1) - aerial assessment of pressure on Oak limb with view to remove Oak limb. 394 - Oak - (TPO W1) - remove identified limb to source to reduce likelihood of further damage to neighbouring tree & increased reliance on support not allowing Larch to produce sufficient reactive support growth. 393 - Holly (TPO W1) - raise low branches over the footpaths to statutory height of elder and maintain holly clearance over gated entrance. 392 - Ash - monitor the condition of the tree for signs of ADB. Maintain statutory clearance over public footpath. 391 - Scots Pine - clearance of ivy from stem to facilitate future inspections. Remove significant deadwood over path. 390 - Douglas Fir - (TPO W1) - no works. 389 - Beech - (TPO W1) - remove significant sized deadwood. 388 - Douglas Fir - (TPO W1) - no works. 387 - Oak - (TPO W1) - maintain statutory clearance over footpath. 386 - Douglas Fir - (TPO W1) - remove failed branch from fence. 3728 - Scots Pine - monitor crown condition for further signs of decline. 384 - Douglas Fir - (TPO W1) - Remove small Oak in contact with T384. G1 - Mix - (TPO W1) - remove major and moderate deadwood. Remove moderate and major sized deadwood from Oak to the left-hand side of shed. 383 - Oak - (TPO G5) - remove significant sized deadwood from over and within striking distance of the path. Maintain statutory clearance over footpath. 156 - Scots Pine - (TPO W1) - Aerial inspection of growth formation at 5m. 382 - Oak - (TPO W1) - Monitor area of bark delimitation. Current area of coverage approx 15% of face towards recreation ground. G2 - Mix - (TPO W1) - maintain statutory clearance over footpath. G3 - Mix - (TPO W1) - maintain statutory clearance over footpath. Remove moderate deadwood within range of the footpath. Remove failed and trapped branches x1 Sycamore to the end of the group nearest informal desire line entrance. 380 - Douglas Fir - (TPO W1) - no works. G4 - Oak - (TPO G3) - sever ivy to maintain clearance for future visual inspections. Remove significant deadwood within striking distance of sports field. 2409 - Oak - (TPO T5) - maintain low branch current clearance over footpath sports field. 378 - Cherry - (no TPO) - maintain clearance over communal area paths of all trees. Formative prune x1 Sorbus sp. G5 - Oak (TPO G5) - maintain current clearance of low branches over lawned area. Remove significant sized deadwood from all trees in the group. G6 - Mix - (no TPO) - maintain statutory clearance over the public footpath and highway. T400 - Beech (TPO W1) - on North Eastern boundary of site to remove to ground level. Tree has been showing reduced vitality in upper crown for several years and fruiting bodies of Kretzschmaria Deusta have been identified in most recent report. Tree inclines towards Noble Road and is also in striking distance of busy footpath.
