Description

The oak tree on our boarder to Kennylands road has a lot of dead wood and we have been advised the tree is in significant decline. We have had work carried out previously on the tree but the tree is showing a large amount of deadwood again. We would like to apply to reduce the crown due to the bus on the road side and remove all dead wood. The tree is growing over the road side and we have alot of dead on our side. I am concerned of falling branches on both our property and the footpath. Also the removal of the deadwood will make the tree look very bare. The tree surgeons who have quoted for the work has said, that the tree may be best to be removed as the dead wood is quite significant and unlikely the tree will improve, we aren t too keen to have the tree removed but if it is for the best and to not cause ongoing costs for tree maintenance would this be an option?
