Description

1. Crown lift of T1 Copper Beech (with branch removal) Reasons for tree work. T1 is an early-mature Category A Copper Beech located on the southern boundary. The tree has a very low canopy which extends over Thames Road and there is insufficient highways clearance. Requested tree work: Request crown lift to statutory highways clearance of 5.5m over road, removing one identified limb (see Fig 1) back to source. We request a crown lift, as a reduction will leave the limb suppressed of light and potentially likely to dieback. Request reducing the lateral spread of over-extended limbs (over Thames Road) by a maximum of 2m to suitable growth points, tapering into height. 2. Crown lift of T2 Copper Beech (with branch removal) Reasons for tree work. T2 is an early mature Category B Copper Beech situated adjacent to the entrance gates and main driveway. The tree has a low canopy which extends over the driveway and there is insufficient clearance for construction vehicles. Requested tree work: Request a crown lift of 2m, removing one identified limb (see Fig 2) back to source. We request a crown lift, as a reduction will leave it suppressed of light and potentially likely to dieback. Reduce lateral spread of over extended limbs (over driveway) by a maximum of 2m to suitable growth points, tapering into height. 3. Removal of T3 Purple Plum T3 is a semi mature Category C Purple Plum situated on the southern boundary and visible from Thames Road. The tree has insufficient light levels and is outcompeted by other nearby trees. Request removal and replanting.
