T1 - Cherry Laurel; Observations; We were called to this property with urgency from a family very concerned about their health and safety. The young boy in the family was recently hospitalised due to eating a berry from the Laurel, and the father also has severe reactions when cleaning up debris from the tree. Tree is located in our clients small, enclosed back garden. Currently the family with young children are unable to utilise the garden. We understand Laurels are toxic, and believe that this family may have an extreme allergy to them therefore they d like to remove the tree as soon as possible. Recommendations; Fell and grind. We kindly request a 5 day notice of intent to fell if the tree under health and safety concerns.
