Description

It is proposed that 2 trees in The Vicarage garden will be pruned. The Vicar has agreed with the proposal. Tree 1 is a maple tree, the stem diameter 1.5m above the ground is 35cm. Tree 2 is a cherry tree, the stem diameter 1.5m above the ground is 36cm. It is proposed that the crown of both trees will be lifted to approximately 5m to reduce the shading effect of the tree in the Vicarage garden and the gardens of adjacent properties. The proposal has been discussed with a local arborist and advice taken from the local authority office and in line with both it is proposed that the pruning of the trees will involve secondary branches and shortening branch tips with a maximum diameter of 5 cm.
