T1 Cherry :- Remove to ground level. The applicant wishes to remove the Cherry tree, it is in very close proximity to both their property and the neighbouring property at number 8 St Marks Road, to the extent that some of the branches are almost touching the house. The trees canopy sits directly above the paved seating area at the rear of the garden, which gets covered in matter from the tree and bird poo when the cherries are ripe. The applicant also has concerns that the roots of the tree could in the future cause damage to the paving and house. The applicant would prefer not to replant as they have other trees and shrubs in the back garden and there is no access to the garden other than through the house.
