Description

1. Cherry (Prunus avium): Located in rear garden overhanging the south eastern boundary. Repeat of pruning prescription previously implemented March 2022 i.e. Combined thinning and reduction of the tree canopy. Reduce foliage density by 20% to allow more light to garden beneath. The thinning operation will remove the extension growth from the previous pruning operations, so as to slightly reduce canopy spread slightly more than previously (by a maximum of 1.5-2.0m), pruning back to suitable secondary growth, whilst maintaining a balanced crown of good form and maintaining the tree at a suitable size for its location.
