Description
T1 Weeping Ash - Attempt to retain by radical pruning. This tree displays all the symptoms of Ash dieback and over-maturity, together with extremely poor habit. Remove major deadwood Crown-lift to 2.5 metres Remove majority of bough pointing south to ensure failure does not occur at union with main stem. Should this failure occur, the wound will condemn the tree. This bough overhangs the most frequented path on the property i.e. between the driveway and the front door of the house, and the potential for injury and/or damage is significant. Tree is is decline, but highly valued. T2 Lombardy Poplar - Reduce height by shortening the tallest leaders to the level of their contemporaries to lessen the likelihood of injury and or damage to the owners and third parties frequenting the church. T3 False Acacia - Fell. Tree has been declining for at least a decade and is now losing branches. T4 False Acacia - Remove substantial regeneration from historic stump to negate high potential of failing on to road. T5 Mulberry - Re-install bracing to preserve. Tree has existing cabling etc. which has undoubtedly prevented collapse, but requires replacement.
