Description

Norway Maple T1 Request to fell tree. This is due to observations from specialist that there is wood decay fungus, signs of stress on the tree with dieback in the canopy. We are concerned that there is a risk of large branches falling or other issue with the tree that would put us at risk as the tree canopy covers most of the garden. It also puts people passing on the pavement at risk as well as cars parked next to our garden as the trunk naturally leans in that direction. The initial report from the Arboricultural Consultant was done last year but the fungus appears significantly larger this year and therefore we are getting increasingly concerned about any risk from the tree. The Arboricultural Consultant came back to look at the tree this month and agreed that it would seem reasonable to ask to fell the tree in view of the wood decay fungus and signs of stress shown. We are happy to plant a replacement tree.
