Reason: provide light to adjacent trees. 2 - Liriodendron - shorten lowest limb on NW side by 3m to reduce lion tailing effect. Reason: hanging low over power line. 3 - Elm - remove lowest limb on N side back to source, reduce remaining overhanging branch on E side by 2m. Reason: close to greenhouse. 4 - Ash & Lime - crown lift low branches to height of 5.2m where hang over adjacent driveway. Reason: to enable passage of tall vehicles. 5 - Lime - cut back branches overhanging neighbour s roof to give 5m clearance. Reason: neighbour s request. 6 - Alder - crown raise low limbs to give 4m clearance from ground level on S side. Reason: provide light to adjacent trees. 7 - Spanish Chestnut - crown raise low limbs to give 4m clearance from ground level on S side. Reason: provide light to adjacent trees. 8 - Koeireuteria - remove lowest limb on N back to source. Reason: formative training.
