Application Details
Description
T1 Willow Observations: This tree is situated in the back garden. The limbs are becoming heavily weighted and works are to prevent future limb failure. Recommended Works: Make new Pollard @ 2.5 metres from ground level T2 Irish Yew Observations: This yew tree is situated in the back garden which is approximately 3.66m, in width. The yew is approx. 1.5m wide and as it grows is taking up more and more outside space. The client is concerned about the size of the tree in the future and the maintenance it will require. The garden is not accessible via a side or rear access so all tree works arisings need to be bought through the house which requires significant preparation and boarding out costs to prevent damage to the internal walls of the property. The client kindly requests to fell this tree as the management costs of annual or 2 yearly trimming is expensive and a struggle. The property is also tenanted, requesting the tenants to vacate the house and prepare it for boarding is stressful. There are a number of other notable trees at the property including a willow, holly and other which provide good amenity. The longer term objective, if approved, will be to plant some easy to maintain shrubs in its place.
