Description

T1 Lime. Crown reduce - Reducing the height of the tree by around 4 metres and the radial spread by around 2 metres, approximately to the previous reduction points. Ensure a good, natural shape and balance. All dead wood also to be removed. This tree has been pollarded at a height of 3-4 meters many years ago and the pollard points are now all showing signs of decay with very large scaffold limbs extended from these points. There is no natural bracing within the crown and consequently there is a risk of failure at the original pollard points. The tree has been more recently reduced at a higher point and the intention is to reduce back to similar points to reduce sail area and loading on pollard points.
