See TPO map attached with annotations, as well as a copy of the Application For Tree Work Report prepared by an arborist, which together identify the trees in question. The report provides a full and clear specification of the works I wish to carry out. T1 - English Oak (TPO G1) - removal.T1 is an early mature Category C English Oak located 10m from the rear of our house. (See Tree Location Plan). This oak lies at the edge of the woodland group and receives reduced light levels. The tree is over 18m tall but is excessively slender form and has an asymmetrical canopy extending towards the house. Its stem also leans heavily, again to the south, over our garden and towards our property. The tree appears in decline and has notably produced "adventitious" for the last few years, which is a stress response. (See Fig 1, 2 & 3) We are greatly concerned about the long term viability of this oak and request permission to remove it. T2 - Common Ash - removal. T2 is an early-mature Category U Common Ash located12m from the rear of our house (See Tree Location Plan). The tree receives reduced light levels and leans towards the property. The tree also suffers from Ash Dieback and is in rapid decline, and we have noted large amounts of deadwood and debris falling into our garden from the tree, particularly during high winds. We are concerned about the safely of this ash and request permission to remove it. (See Fig 4). T3 - English Oak (TPO G1) - crown reduction. T3 is an early mature Category B English Oak located 16m from the rear of our house. (See Tree Location Plan). This oak lies at the edge of the woodland group and receives reduced light levels. The tree has excessively slender form and an asymmetrical canopy which extends towards the house. (See Fig 4). We seek permission to carry out a crown reduction reducing the southern laterals by up to 2m, to suitable secondary growth points.
