Description

The tree is a Maple tree, which was planted about 11 years ago, subject to a TPO and is located at the top corner of my property next to the public path. The tree is in good health, but some of the branches are growing into each other, so it requires pruning for continued health, and now is an ideal time of year to have it done. It is evident though, particularly now the tree is bare, that a number of the branches are growing into each other, so the tree will probably benefit from a small amount of crown thinning - I would suggest ~15%, possibly less. In addition, a small amount of crown reduction is also required, to give clearance for branches growing over my drive and the adjacent public footpath. I would suggest this is < 5%. We are talking about a reduction to one or two branches over the public footpath (~1/2 metre) and one or two branches over my drive (~1 metre) - one of which has already been partially damaged by a workman s van. I don t believe the crown needs to be lifted to achieve this clearance.
