Description

T1 - Lime - T1 Lime is situated 17m from the riverbank and is adjacent to River Lane. T1 tree is a mature Category "B" Lime, approx 25m tall which has developed a co-dominant stem at 10m. The union is heavily included and bulging (see Figs 2 and 3). Given its proximity to the footpath, we have been advised to reduce the tree down to its secondary union as there is risk of this co-dominant union failing. Each co-dominant stem also has a fork, so the tree effectively has 4 stems. Reduce all 4 stems down to the 2nd set of tree forks (secondary union), which will remove its over-heavy crown and give the tree increased stability.
