Description

An English yew, Taxus baccata in the centre of the churchyard. The branches are sweeping low to the ground and we intend to trim the lower branches to a height of up to 2.7 metres above the ground. This is a repeat of work that was done previously under notified Conservation area works. Currently the branches obscure both the tree bench and graves beneath the tree. I have three photographs, one of which shows the state after the last time it was trimmed in 2015, and two which show the current state.
