Description

T1 - Downy Birch (Betula pubescens) to be monolithed to 4m in height. The tree has Fomitopsis betulina (birch polypore) on the main stem of the tree and the main stem near the top has previously failed. The tree is in a general state of decline and has dead branches throughout the crown. It is likely to fail again and has a high chance of hitting a target. Creating the tree into a monolith will provide habitat for the wildlife while keeping the public safe.
