Description

EIA Scoping Opinion for full planning permission to develop a wind farm with battery storage, south of South Kilworth Road, near Welford. An underground cable route will also be required from the site to the point of connection to the distribution grid network and/or directly to large energy users in the local area. The underground cable route for the power export connection(s) will not form part of the planning application however an indicative route to the existing 33kV substation, located off Old Leicester Road, Rugby will be assessed as part of the environmental assessment.
