Application Details
Description
(T1) oak - N 6m E 3m W 3m S 1m - reduce northern lateral crown spread over third party garden by 3m to mitigate risk of potential branch failure (TG1) mixed group of beech and oak - N 6m S 4m east to west spread over entire group is approximately 30m. Average E/W per tree around 4m - lift canopies to provide clearance and avoid damage to third party property (T2) sweet chestnut - N 3m E 1m W 2m S 1m - upper canopy dead with only basal growth remaining, monolith to approximately 5m tall and leave as standing habitat (T3) sweet chestnut - N 3m E 2m W 2m S 1m - signs of basal decay with delaminating bark on south side. Coppice to allow for future canopy cover while removing current risk of failure (T5) oak - N 1m E 2m W 2m S 2m - canopy in heavy decline with sparse foliage and apical dieback, reduce all stems to approximately 4m high and retain as standing habitat (T6) sweet chestnut - N 1m E 3m W 1m S 2m - old coppice stool with significant basal decay, re-coppice two larger stems to mitigate their failure (T7) sweet chestnut - N 2m E 3m W 2m S 1m - larger stem in good condition. Smaller stem with significant apical dieback leaning towards clients house within striking distance, coppice smaller stem to mitigate failure risk. (T8) sycamore - N 1 E 3m W 1m S 4m- reduce to a 5 metre tall monolith and leave as standing habitat. Fell smaller stem to near ground level as likely to cause entire basal failure given shape and trajectory
