Description

G1 - a shelterbelt of trees mostly comprising of Ash with some Hawthorn and Field Maple in the understory. It is proposed that any dead trees within the shelterbelt are felled, any major branches or leaning, suppressed trees are reduced back to pollards or pollard points to the northern edge of Squires Road. The upper portions of the crowns are to be tip reduced by around 2m in order to alleviate the effects of the aformentioned work. Small, understory trees that are significantly leaning over the road are to be felled.
