Application Details
Description
Tree 1- Taxus baccata/ Yew- approximately 2/3mts in height and spread- approx. 1700mm from top of the wall/ path it is congested with the other trees and is unsightly and covered with ivy. Tree 2- a very small Cupressus – approx. 1-2mts in height. Has some browning to one side, likely due to congestion. Tree 3- Lawson cypress/ Chamaecyparis lawsoniana- approximately 25 mts height- dominates the garden and border and is getting very big. Tree 4 – Taxus baccata- approximately 3-4 metres in height and spread, this tree may have had the top part removed some time ago. Tree 5- Chamaecyparis obtusa- tree aprox 3-4 metres in height. The border has become overgrown, the trees are congested and restrict the view and light to the property. We propose to take instruct a professional tree surgeon to remove all five trees described above and where necessary grind out some roots. This will allow for a selection of smaller, trees, including native trees to be planted, providing a more manageable and desirable border to the garden.
