Description

South Lakeland DC TPO No 279 2016 T831 - Beech Crown lift lowest drooping branches to create 3m clearance within the grounds and over the pavement for pedestrians/cars/delivery vehicles. Crown lift lowest drooping branches to create 5.5m clearance over the highway. Due to dormancy the additional 0.3m above statutory clearance (5.2m) aims to prevent future pruning when leaf mass lowers the canopy. All pruning to be restricted to tertiary and higher order branches only. No pruning wound required will be greater than 30mm. Natural target pruning to be observed. The branch extending from the pruning wound will be at least 1/3rd the diameter of the branch removed. All work will be carried out in accordance with BS3998(2010) Reason for work: Abatement of nuisance.
