The property owner would like to retain the tree. With correct maintenance, the tree can exist within the garden. Without pruning, the tree will grow into high voltage wires and shade much of the garden. Reduction of the crown sail area will reduce the risk of damage to the tree in the frequent storms predicted by climate change.
